Greg Garson grew up in France before moving to South Wales (UK) after university, where he developed a curious “Frelsh” accent. Having spent almost equal time in both countries, he proudly holds dual nationality and enjoys hopping between the two cultures.
By day, Greg works as a structural engineer for a large international consultancy, solving puzzles made of concrete, steel, and numbers. By night (and weekends), he turns those ideas into stories, tucking gentle hints of engineering concepts into exciting fast‑paced adventures. In his professional life, Greg regularly writes technical reports and has published several specialist articles in a leading engineering magazine.
As the father of a growing dreamer, Greg loves encouraging children to think, wonder, and imagine. His stories aim to spark curiosity by sprinkling small bites of his science and engineering world into playful, imaginative tales - stories where buildings and problem solving are part of the adventure.
When he’s not designing structures or dreaming up new stories, Greg enjoys photography and has won several local awards for his striking construction‑themed shots, finding beauty and drama in the built environment.
The Christmas Eve Rescue Mission is Greg’s first published book, and he is already busy planning the next adventure.
Photography is another passion of mine. I enjoy exploring both nature and urban jungles, finding beauty everywhere in very different ways. Walking, exploring and taking time to be present in each moment helps me capture landscapes and often sparks ideas for my writing, away from the distractions of everyday life.
